The Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Spirit of BC Committee is a group of local residents and businesses who have come together to make the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games an important part of this community's work during the lead-up to the Games.

From the day Vancouver and Whistler announced they were bidding to host the 2010 Winter Games, residents in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows have been looking for ways to help. The enthusiasm grew even more once the Games were awarded and this led to the development of a local Spirit of BC community committee.
